Philodendron 'Birkin' (S)
Native to Colombia, this mesmerising plant catches the eye with its veiny leaves, enriched with a display of varied greens almost creating a luminous effect. The heart shaped leaves gradually develop variegation as the leaves grow as well as an increase in colour contrast with brighter lighting. Perfect for your study or living room to brighten up a dull area while ensuring a calming presence.
Ensure this plant remains without direct sunlight, best positioned in a bright or medium indirect or filtered light. This plant doesn not love overwatering, so let it dry out a little before watering. The Birkin Philodendron loves warmth so make sure it is cared for in the colder seasons. Repot as the plant grows and wipes leaves gently with a damp cloth if it gathers dust throughout its lifetime.
