Philodendron McColley's Finale
Philodendron McColley's Finale (S)
Philodendron McColley's Finale is a beautiful plant that offers a constant colour change. Mature leaves are a classic deep glossy green, but new leaves emerging from the plants centre are a distinct red-orange sunset cinnamon colour. As they grow, this bright colour softens, transitioning to the deep green with time. It loves shaded areas and only grows to 50cm, making it a perfect plant for a table in your home to brighten up a dull space.
These plants are fairly easy to grow being a tropical plant, with its little care requirements. It's best to keep the plant in a space with filtered sunlight or in a shaded area. In terms of watering, it prefers moist soil so ensure it is watered when the top layer of the soil becomes dry.
