Caladium 'Bicolor'

Caladium Bicolor - Heart of Jesus (In Ceramic Pot - XS)

A spectacular tropical plant with lime green leaves and veins and striking crimson red markings, it's no surprise this stunning plant has been knicknamed the 'Heart of Jesus'. This exotic Bicolor is a must have rare plant for any collector and comes together with a small ceramic pot.

Native to South America, Caladiums were discovered in the 1500's by the Spanish explorers for their stunning leaves. They come in a myriad of stunning patterns and colours and are highly collected around the world. The name Caladium, comes from the South American Indian term 'kelady' meaning 'unknown'.

Keep well watered and soil moist at all times. Best in a bright, warm space with medium humidity. If this environment can be maintained then your Caladium can remain active all year long, otherwise during cooler months your plant may go dormant and slowly die back until Spring. As soon as the leaves begin to wilt, reduce water to a few sips every few weeks or remove from soil and water and keep between 13-16 degrees and replant in Spring.
