Calathea 'Medallion'

Calathea 'Medallion' (S)

$24.95

Calathea roseopicta or 'Medallion' is a beautiful specimen often nicknamed the 'rose-painted calathea'. Its striking round leaves sport a dark and light green pattern on the top with gorgeous purple tones underneath. These lush tropical plants are found on the forest floor of Brazil, so can offer a pop of colour in most rooms as it can survive in low light conditions.

CARE TIPS

Maintain moist soil and reasonable humidity to mimic a tropical environment. Mist regularly and wipe leaves with damp cloth for the best leaf colours. Keep in warm conditions such as well lit kitchens, bathrooms or bedrooms but out of the path of air conditioning or heaters that will dry out the leaves. Will tolerate low light but will grow slowly, so best kept in medium indirect light. Apply a slow release fertiliser every three months for vibrant healthy foliage.
