Euphorbia lactea 'Cristata'

Crested Euphorbia - one off (M)

The Crested Euphorbia is a slow growing succulent that develops in an undulating wave-like crest formation. It is popular with horticulturalists who often graft it onto other species to create Frankenstein like creations.

It is easy to care for and each plant grows with a unique pattern and shape making them a coveted plant to add to your collection. This magnificent specimen comes from a private grower who has been caring for it outdoors in brightly lit conditions with morning sun. Starting its life in a terracotta pot it has been very well cared for and loved.

Best in a sunny position with mineral rich soil however is tolerant of a wide range of soil types as long as there is good drainage. Water sparingly during the summer months and keep quite dry in winter. Can tolerate moderate shade, but do not move directly into sun from the shade as it may scorch the plant. Instead allow the plant to get comfortable with increasingly more sun gradually over time.
