Fittonia albivenis

Fittonia - 'Nerve Plant' / 'Mosaic Plant' (mini)

$12.95

The Fittonia 'Nerve Plant' is a gorgeous evergreen. It's small, deep green leaves are enriched by their delicate silver-white veins which created a netted lace effect. The contrast of its leaves make it quite unique. In the wild, the plant would be a ground spreader, and as it doesn't grow too large it would be perfect for small pots on your desk, coffee table, or windowsill. Fittonia albivenis will remind you when it has become really thirsty by drooping dramatically - however, by taking good care of it, this shouldn't happen regularly!

CARE TIPS

The nerve plant is one of our more advanced plants to take care of due to its need for humidity. Keep the plant in filtered indirect sunlight to ensure the leaves don't get burnt so it is best to avoid direct sun. The soil should be kept moist, but be careful of overwatering and ensure water is able to drain well.
