Homalomena rubescens

Homalomena 'Sunshine Gem' / 'Lemon Glow' (M)

$34.95

As its name suggests, the Homalomena 'Sunshine Gem' is a gem of a plant! It is part of the Homalomena family native to tropical areas of Central America and South East Asia. It's lime coloured waxy, spade-shaped leaves offer bright splashes of green to your home. They are fairly easy-care plants and make a nice foliage addition to your indoor plant collection by contrasting and complimenting other shades of greens and growing patterns. Homalomena thrive in medium light conditions, though can tolerate lower light.

CARE TIPS

Prefers a partially shaded position outdoors or medium light indoors but can also survive low light conditions. These tropical botanicals have deep roots so do not suit shallow containers. Keep air humid as dry air may turn leaves brown and do not allow roots to sit in stagnant water. Always allow the top 50% of the soil to dry out before watering and use warm water.
