Aloe mitriformis f variegata

Variegated Mitre Aloe (XS)

$34.95

This rare and beautiful Aloe is a variegated version of the Aloe mitriformis. Native to Africa this compact succulent forms attractive green rosettes with heavily offset wide clusters and sharp but flexible teeth that run along the margins of the leaves.

Note: The sap of this Aloe is mildly toxic and may cause harm when ingested so it is not ideal for homes with animals and/or small children.

CARE TIPS

Water moderately during the warmer months and sparingly during the winter and water the soil and not the plant as excess water in the rosette may harm the plant by sitting and rotting the leaves and root. Aloe mitriformis is drought tolerant so can withstand periods with little to no water but over watering will cause roots to rot. Provide shade from hot afternoon sun to avoid burning the plant and keep away from frost. Fertiliser is not essential but will help support growth in warmer months if desired.
